Lift Gate Unloading Service

Portable Garage Depot gives you the option to order "Lift Gate Service"(driver unloads your order to the ground), on all items that ship via truck. The fee for this optional service is $75. Due to the weight of the shelters, they cannot be shipped via UPS Ground. Instead, they are shipped via semi-trucks, which are designed to unload products at loading docks and freight terminals. If you have a loading dock or forklift, you do NOT need liftgate service. If you are a residential customer, most shipments are broken down into multiple boxes that can be unloaded manually to avoid the need for a liftgate sevice. It is advised to unband the boxes and pull the materials off the truck manually to avoid the lift gate charge to put in on the ground. While some truck drivers are kind enough to help, they are not required to help you lift the products. A delivery appointment is scheduled by the freight company via the phone number(s) you provide in your order. No delivery will be made unless an appointment is set. You must be present at time of delivery.
